Plenty of thunderbirds intheJYs around town. Anyone know how to do it?

You'll need to swap to a turbocoupe rearend. Here's step by step instructions....................

It is, but It's more wor and money than a whole rear end

i asked because we finished the front end and the T5 is being preped to go in and i don't want the ratios ****ing with my speedo.

Just swap in the 8.8 from the 87-88 TC

It's a direct bolt in. If you really insist on keeping the stock axle, then you might as well go all out and do a 5-lug swap with sn95 brakes.

it only takes a 5 dollar gear to fix it

If your car was an auto it's already f-ed with the T5 swap. Also the 8.8 manual from the 87-88 TC has 3.55 gears, the 7.5 has 3.45... so it's close
