Default Raced a Type R Integra

I just got off work and I'm driving home. A Fox Vert gets on the freeway with me and I wait till we get to the bridge and try to get him to pull up on me and he didn't want to race. So I'm a little bummed, get off the freeway at my exit. Pull up to the light and there's a guy in an Integra beside me (not riced out, but he did have a fart can, no stickers... just a red Type R decal on the side behind the door). I just pull out and take my left and I hear him gun it up on me. We stop at the next red light...... it turns green and we go. He dumped it, I rolled off the clutch and then stomped it.... still broke serious traction. I pulled him hard the entire time, he never had a chance. I let off of it way in front of him and he took the next right. Felt good, even though I'd like to have run the vert.... oh well, an import will do!</P>

(What are the cheapest but best ways to getmy car to hook better? I've got good Z ratedKomhos on it.......) </P><edited><editID>karma279</editID><editDate>37957.1516319444</editDate></edited>

Kumho ecsta 712's?
Those are junk. I've got them on mine. They're TOO HARD. Sure, they're Z rated. But they've also got a 30k mile treadwear warranty. You want to hook, get some ET streets or something. I'm just going to boil away my Kumhos and get something decent next summer. Stupid tires. <edited><editID>horatio102</editID><editDate>37957.2559722222</editDate></edited>

I'm looking for some way to hook and still be able to drive it every day. Subframe connectors, lowered springs... what?

id say subframe connectors and a pair of bf goodrich drag raidials should do it. if that doesnt work then get 70\30 or 90\10 shocks.

I'm telling you man, the cheapest and best way to improve traction is to buy new tires. Those Kumhos are way too hard of a compound. If I ever go full throttle in my car in first gear they'll instantly burn off. Second gear is sketchy at best sometimes. It's the tires.

I hear ya' Horatio.... it breaks loose in first if I nail it every time, I gotta feather it out if I wanna pull. How long do those BF drag radials last if you drive it every day. They are street and strip tires no?
