Default rear Sway bar?

can i take the rear sway off of an 86 5.0 conv? will it work on my 91 lx?

Anything from 79-04 will work, but I'm pretty sure 05-08 doesn't work. I got mine from an '87 Turbocoupe and it made my car's steering balance reallynice. I've heard that the Turbo coupes had the stiffest swaybars stock of all of those cars, except Cobras and Mach 1's, Shelby's etc. I'm debating whether I even want a front sway bar anymore because I like the oversteer.

None came stock on the 4 cyl. N/A mustangs. But if you mean what I think, there are aftermarket sway bars that are much stiffer than stock.

i know the sway bars in the 5.0 GT are stiffer, but are the ones in the 5.0 LX stiffer?

There the same... The only difference between the GT and the LX is the body moldings (or from what I've been told in the 5.0 section)
