chip or tuner
should i get a tuner or a chip like the sct 4 bank eliminator chip from AM, its for my 94

tuner......then u can get justin at vmp to tune it and everytime u get a new mod he can send u an email to and u can load it up on ur computer to ur tuner then put it on ur car

the reason im asking is i heard for 96+ u should get a tuner but before than get a chip

actually, i think, for a 94-95, you HAVE to get a chip-there is no tuner available...im assuming b.c of OBDII.

thats what i thought im trying to make sure .. im ordering it tomorrow night so anymore input before then would be great i think im gona get a 93 octane, economy, and idk maybe another tune

yea i didnt think about that at all......srry didnt read ur whole question. yea on an obdI car i believe u do have to go with a chip cause they dont have a tuner hookup

Does a chip give u just as much hp and mpg boost like a tuner?

a chip is the same as a tuner but u cant upload tunes from email u have to send them off each time if u want to change any part of your tune

alright thanks for clearing it up now i just need to see what tunes i can even get cause i see some say 96-04 only, i know i can get a performance for w.e octane i want to use and an economy but im not sure what else
