So I went and looked at another bmw today
Biggest peice of **** ever
I bought my 318 for $500 then dumped a pile of money into it, and even it was decent when I bought it.
This was a 325e for $500, it barely ran, throttle cable was so damn stiff.......... power steering pumpo and rack were ****ed...........
had NO BALLS
i couldnt beleive it, they started at $1200, and were down to $500 firm, I wanted to offer like $150, but didnt want to crush their dream.......
end of rant/story.....
its not even a rant, and at that a really crappy story.....
my first post ****ed up so here it is redone but shorter (lazy)
asked a buddy if he knew of any 80's cutlass' because i like them
his uncles selling a mid 80's monte for $300
needs frame rails redone from behind the rear shackle to the bumper, and it comes with the new frame sections to be welded in,
he doesnt remember what year, but mid 80's, its gray, 3.8L[8D] and a 4spd auto, bodys in good shape
so im chasing my pay check thursday and heading out to his uncles......
so maybe.....
ive always wanted like a 88' monte with a 350....... black on black with chrome rims of some kind.....
(and the monte is still on the road being driven, apparently runs great and the tranny was just rebuilt)

RE: So I went and looked at another bmw today
i've only had 2 cars. the labarron i got for free and while i drove that the stang sat at the shop i worked at waiting for my new clutch and tranny...my boss bitched at moaned that it sat there all the time. but my friend works there now and he let him set up a tent thing for his truck while he was doing the body work and letting it sit in the lot and let it take up 1 of 2 lifts in the shop for 2 weeks...i found something wrong with that

you obviously cant afford to fix any of these pos' so just get one decent car and be done with it until you can afford a project car
