Default the 50 states.

OK so i had an idea. Since most people stereotype states like texas , new jersy , Alabama ect i thought it would be neat if you guys posted a small paragraph about your state , not the basic info but maybe stuff no one knows about unless they live there.

Kentucky: most people here dont like country music unless they are over 35, most listen to hip hop. Louisville , the largest city is a big hip hop scene and has 1/4 of the states population. A lot of people in Eastern Kentucky grow pot and make meth. Richmond has the US supply of nerve gas. Fort Knox has the gold supply. Kentucky Fried Chicken started here as Sanders Cafe but the first KFC was in Utah as a franchise. Bowling green Ky is the home of the Corvette and Georgetown has a Toyota factory. There arent any big mountains in Ky altho a lot of people live on ridge lines or a valley which is called a " holler". Only half of Ky has mountains. Its cold as crap in the winter and Hot as **** in the summer. Ky is ranked number one in... Tobacco use. There arent any farms other then Horse, cattle and tobacco. Fort Cambell is home of the 101st airborne.

Commonwealth of Virginia

Virginia Police = Nazi Gustapo

A Guy I used to work with, grew up in richmond (2nd most violent city in the USA per capita) then Moved to Chicago, then to Mississippi, then back here (different part of VA from Richmond). He told me that I was not just paranoid, that the police in VA are worse than anywhere he has ever lived. We nicknamed them the VA Gustapo. The Police here will pull you over for nothing, then find a reason. they will follow you for miles for no reason. I've even had a friend get arrested downtown for trying to pet the Horse Patrol's Horse. [&:] Assault on a Police Officer.

There is my paragraph

Philly cheesesteaks, I miss them bad, and it definitely not the same anywhere else. East coast food is so much better than west coast food. And Wawa kicks ass too.

Indiana is (or at least used to be) the fattest state in America. A very large percentage of Indiana is farmland (corn, pigs and soybeans). Indianapolis ranks #13 in largest US cities, and makes up about 2/3 of Indiana's population, including surrounding areas. People from Indiana are called Hoosiers. Most Hoosiers are of white/caucasian origin, but Indianapolis hosts a black festival every year. A stereotype is that hoosiers are fat, and I can't say that it isn't true. Indiana is home to many good schools including Purdue, IU, Ball State, University of Indianapolis, Butler, DePauw, Wabash, and others. Brown county has the largest concentration of covered bridges in the world. Indianapolis is the only city in the world to have a National park in a downtown area. And we are home to a large number of racing events, as many of you already know.

well first off, theyre served on Amoroso's rolls, which are only sold in the Philadelphia area, due to freshness, and this roll makes all the difference. second, most places outside of Philadelphia havnt grasped the concept that you have to cook it with thinly sliced dethawed meat, TO ORDER. you cant mass quantity the meat ahead of time, it just ruins the taste and texture. and you have to melt the cheese with the meat, or at least serve the cheese at room temperature if youre not going to melt it. some people like Whiz on their steak, but im a firm believer of ketchup on a cheesesteak, and ketchup and Whiz dont mix well. plus Whiz makes the roll soggy, which just sucks. and you dont put American cheese (or any kind of cheese thats milky) on a cheesesteak. I like Provolone, which is a popular choice. most places that dont primarly serve Whiz, will put Provolone (provie) on a cheesesteak if you dont specify. its a little sharper than american, and melts much better.

and i think most imporantly, people that try to serve Cheesesteaks outside the Philadelphia area, try to drain all the fat from the meat. that 1, takes a lot of the flavor out, and 2, it dries out the meat. which is a double loss.

Yeah I have to serve (obviously) non-authentic cheesesteaks at work (Quiznos). Ours aren't nearly as good as the real thing.
