Default Does larger exhaust size make a louder car? (video included)

I just installed my MAC o/r H. I have MAC weld in mufflers. The car is pretty loud as is.. but I want it louder. Will switching to the catback, with 2.5" tubing make it atleast a little louder?

Video as promised, just got it up yesterday. the first minute and a half is my friends fox with a BBK Catted H he just installed. I told him to go off road [:'(]

It should make it a bit louder but you will also pick up a bit of power from it too. Choice of mufflers really makes a difference in the sound. Aftermarket headers will make it louder as well. Car sounds great to me. [sm=smiley20.gif]
