Default H-Pipe or X-Pipe

I have a 96 gt. My question is if I put on the off road h-pipe or x-pipe with the bung holes in it already. How will it effect my performnce. Will the O2 sensors be meesed up and cause the car to run like crap. I understand the engine light will come on and I do not care, my concern is engine performnce. Any ideas or has any one done this. What exhaust did you use.

The engine light will come on like you said, but the engine performance will not be effected. The rear O2 sensors do not effect how it runs.

Yup +2, it will not effect the cars performance at all. They are just there to meter the exhaust.

Well your code refers to bank 1 which is the passenger side.

That being said, how did you go about turning off the rear 02's when you cut your cats off?

If you do want the engine light off there are a few things you can do, you can go to a dyno and have them shut the rear o2 sensors off when you tune it, or you can go to an autoparts store and pick up some spark plug fullers you can drill out the center to 1/2 inch and the o2 sensor will be raised out of the pipe enought to keep the light off, or you can get mil light eliminators.
