I am a 17 year old turning 18 in a month. I am most likly picking up a 2005 Mustang in a month. I need to know from people who have a 2005, what your payments a month are. Doesnt matter if you got it the day it came out or if you just picked it up yesterday. I need to average it out so i can fit a budget to it for the winter. This help is greatly appreciated. There is no other vehicle I would like to own.

Welcome to the forums this is a great place to learn about Mustangs all shapes and sizes! If your looking for great information on 2005 to 2008 check out that specific forum page. IfI recall correctly,I believe that question has been asked before. Also with you being 18 there are alot of variables you have to consider. If I were you I would check with my insurance salesman first to check how much its gonna cost. You may end up spending more on insurance than on payments. Second, price of gas that stands for itself. Last, payments differ from individuals, due to interest rates, down payments, trade ins and credit ratings. The basic range I have heard has been between 250 to 500.
I'm used to the price of gas. I had 2 cars previous. Actually i bought a car about 3 weeks ago and i get to go to civil court do try and get the money back from that. Long story.Anyhow, one car i had had a MPG of 15 city, so this would be a step up. I checked and insurance will be somewhere between $140 and $150 a month, and i expected that. The payment plan i was going for was to get a loan from my grandparents bank through them(they havevery good credit) and the payments a month would be $300. I am excited about that. I budgeted about $500 a month so i am fitting into that budget. The real kicker is that the only way for me to get this car is for this whole court thing to come out right and me to get my $4000 back. So I am praying this ends good for us. And Thanks for the welcome.
hey man congratz sounds like you got it all together hope you court situation works out for you. Lets us know when you pick up your Stang and post some pics for us!!!
Thanks man. I'm actually just entering my senior year in high School. For me to be able to get this car would be an honor. I am genuinly against high school kids getting newer cars, unless they work for them. I will be working hard to pay off this car and i am willing to do all that is necessary. I will be getting$1000 from my grandparents when i graduate and i have decided that with this i will eitherbe getting a Carbon Fiber Hood and Carbon Fiber Trunk (maybe get just a little more gas mileage out of the car, and it would look spiffy), or i will use that to pay a chunk off the car. I havent decided yet.
