i was set to into teh (drum roll) air force. i love fighter craft in wanted to fly them, but then my eyes went bad and unless i get laser surgery, its a no-no[:@]
I plan on joining, my parents forbid me to enlist but my dad has been getting worse and worse about setting unreal expectations for me like graduating with honors and distiction and going to georgia tech.
I think the millitary would be good for me and Im about ready to do ANYTHING to get the hell out of this house.
Tell your parents that the military pays for college. The G.I. Bill is about to go up signifigantly. I don't remember how much I got back in 05 but I think its over 100g's or some ****. Plus enlistment bonuses are going up too.
Do I have to sign up? I'll join when I feel there is a reason to fight for my country. I'm not fighting to defend the same people who *believes in 9/11 conspiracy*....
