Hey guys, me and 2 other friends were trying to take off a stock spoiler off a v6 stang. It has ALOT more tape than my stock gt one did. Whats some good ways to take it off? We tried lifting it up, couldn't do it. We also tried getting 2 people to lift and try cutting the tape with a putty knife. Didn't work. Any ideas? Thanks.

Are you talking about the pedestal one or the flat V6 looking one?
The latter has tape all the way around it. You have to be patient.
A long putty knife works, just more cutting.
Once you start on one end, even a paint stick does the trick and it doesn't scratch the paint.
Not everyone has the same practice than I do, so I sometimes make the mistake thinking that it's easy for everybody.
There is always two ways of doing things.
Give the OP the options, I always say.
An informed stang modder is a happy modder.
Funny how no one mentions using a little heat
at the same time from a hair direr. LOL

I tried the braded fishing line/saw thing and it didn't work for me. Fortunately for me,Minnesota has winter - the tape is much more brittle in sub-zero temps and I was able to just pop it off. The spoiler, tape and all came off in one shot, but I had to use a lot more elbow grease than I expected.
