Default 87 octane or 93 octane tune

is there any difference in horsepower? or like whats the difference does it just feel quicker?

yes with diablo something like 5-7hp with 87, 15-20 with 93

im guessing same for sct x2?


so if i get a custom tune with a steeda cai... 87 octane i can get like 30 hp... and 93 octane i could get like 45 your saying?

25rwhp over stock is best case scenerio with a premium octane tune and oversized CAI.

The 93 octane tune gets more mpg and more horsepower... you just have to remember to not fill your car with 87 which is a hastle. It doesn't cost any measurable amount more or less with a variable timing engine.

right now i have a half tank of 87 do i have 2 wait until its empty to tune my car nd then fill it up with 93. and with the cold air intake i have to i should wait to put on also right

wait till your car gives you the "50 milesto empty" message and then top it off with premium and install your CAI. enjoy.
