help?

i have this audiobahn flipdown dvd player that i bought a few years ago to keep the kids quiet during long trips, its always worked great. havent used it in like a year and today i put new batteries in both headphones and popped in a movie and i have no sound. the headphones are on, and i have gone thru every setting i can find on the player but still no sound. using the FM transmitter i can pick up the audio but its staticy cause the fm modulator sucks on that thing.

anyone have a clue?

heres the unit, and i know everyone is gonna say audiobahn sucks but the thing was like 50 bucks on ebay used when i bought it and it DID work just fine last time i used it

If you don't have a built ir transmitter, then it won't work.
