How do you tell or test to see if you need a new water pump?

Is it running hot even though it has plenty of water/antifreeze?

well...lets put it this way...if you open the hood and you're getting spit on...its obviously time to install a new one...lolluv jenna

*L*.....when engine is cool pop off the rad top and start the engine and look to see if you see water movement
