I know most ford owners would say noway to this. I just found a engine block with most parts I need. Only problem it is a Chevy. There is a guy locally that has a 350 block and he is thinking about selling it for 50-60 dollars. I want opinions on this.

opinions on what. A chevy 350 block for $40 is just that, a chevy block for $40.
It would cost you more money to rebuild it and install it in a non-ford than it would to simply find a 302 block and buy it and rebuild it and install it.
Other than the headaches involved with installing a GM product into a Ford car, I don't have a problem with it. It's just a car. We have a restored '57F100 with a BB Chevy 402 in it. The Ford T-bucket guys engine of choice is the SB Chevy motor.
Now with that said....
A$40 SBC 350 motor can't be anythingto write home about. The headaches you'll encounter trying to get this motor into a classic Mustang will not be worth it. If someone gave you a new $20,000 572 motor and you wanted to install it into the Mustang, that would be a different story. But to go through all of that trouble just to get a free/$40 motor into the car? Not worth it.
Where are you located?
I have a non-roller 302 and T10 4speed sitting in my shop. I have no idea what I'm going to do with them and they're just sitting there collecting dust. Save your pennies this Summer and if you're close enough to NC, maybe we can work something out.
