computer repair crew in here.
so for some reason my computer wont run games anymore.
i was trying to play my star trek bridge commander (yea im a ****ing nerd) demo
and it wouldn't strat up. next i tried my spore demo adn same thing. i have no idea what's going on.
i didnt mess with any settings on my computer recently, nor have i downloaded anything. (except an up date for direct x, which was
AFTER the fact). can anyone help me out?
the direct x update was from microsoft btw.

i dont think this demo has an expiration date, its a pretty old game. i even un-onstalled it and redownloaded it from a different site. and i tried starting it again and briefly saw
something about activex?
You could try updating your graphics card drivers. I had a similar problem, I would start a game and it would just exit out almost instantly, updated the drivers and it works fine.
