All right, as I'm sure all of you know by now, I got some 18" GT rims for my V6(oh no, not this guy again) I'm not sure If I'm going to have fit issues yet but, I'm thinking to do the GT brake upgrade anyway. From what I understand the calipers are all the same. Rotors are no big deal. actually when you take shipping charges into account, I can get new ones from autozone almost for the same price as takeoff parts (about $100 for a pair new, takeoffs$80 a pair). my question is when it comes to the caliper brackets. One of the many many, very wise (hows that for kissing up) members on MF quoted the part number as 6R3Z-2B134-B. I can't find this part number anywhere. Any ideas? Any body know roughly what it costs for a pair of these brackets? Thanks, you folks are the best, smartest, best looking....(there I go again)

First, you have to have the 17" wheels, the larger GT brakes won't fit the base V6 wheel (16").
To upgrade all you need is the 2 brackets and the 2 GT size rotors. Swap the brackets and keep your same calipers, swap the rotors, mount everything back up and you're done.

Well good, I have the Premium so I have 17s. Hmm...so then does everybody mostly just do the front brakes? If I were to go aftermarket for the rotors I'd just look for GT ones than as long as I have the 2 GT brackets correct?

There is no difference in the rear brakes StreamlineStang. The calipers and rotors are the same on both the V6 and the V8.If you go with GT take offs, all you need is the front.
