Default Some poor Lad at the Track =(

So I went to the track last night, had a good time, alot of peeps there. So this guy has a sweet GT/CS Vista Blue Black 20's dressed up here and there, really a sharp looking car. Well the poor kid does his first run, and is running out the lane and his opponant turned right into his driver side door at about 70 or 80 mph. Slammed him into the Guard Rails and FUBAR'd his ride pretty bad. I didn't have a camera to take pics but I wouldn't post anyway cause the kid was obviously distraught over it.

But the Morale of the story is guys please please please be careful at the track and remember. There is another guy or girl on the track and they are human too. Just protect yourself and your property even if it means you might not win that particular race. Races are run weekly, you can just try again next week. A demolished car, well that might stick with ya a bit longer!

Good Luck out there Racers

He did this turning onto the return road or actually during the run?

I've seen a few close calls when the right lane driver runs a bit quicker and turns left for the 1st return road entrance and the left lane driver is coming in hot and wants to run the 2nd return road entrance.

Whenever I'm in the right lane I always go to the 2nd entrance to avoid that.

Most bigger tracks have two. The second one is farther down and mainly used by cars that were going so fast and couldn't stop in time for the first one.

I have never heard of a non-brand name car....would that be like a Fred's Fun Wagon?

Drag the car out to the road and call the insurance company. "Yeah, I left it parked here and a drunk driver hit me."

Oof. Yeah, that kids is going to have to be pretty creative with his insurance story. Even at that it would be fraud.

He's screwed. Insurance isn't gonna touch a racing accident.

they have three, you can go all the way to the end and just turn around before the bags. i use that one so i don't fry my brakes every run. speaking of which, you goin out with flash and i tomorrow?

that sucks what happened to the kid. i don't think insurance applies at the track, either.
