Default A problem with my 89 mustang lx

Hi, im 16 and i jus bought a 1989 mustang lx 5.0, it has 7000 km on a rebuilt engine with about 340 hp. now my question, when i get it revved up around 3800 rpm it starts to make a weird sound and jus doesnt like to rev anymore. is this a problem with the fuel system or what? or is that jus what happens when u get it revved up that high. thanks. boyd

Post this in the 5.0 section and describe what kind of sound its making. A weird sound is a bit vague to make a guess. Welcome to the forums by the way.
