Another rear spring question

I am looking to lower my rear end so it will be evan with the front. From what i have read in the forum, it looks like the Roush rear springs are the way to go. Does anyone know how the Roush rear springs affect the ride? I don't want the ride to be any stiffer than it is now. Would I need new shocks to make the ride less stiff? Also I have read several posts asking about wether panhard bar is needed when lowering the rear 1 inch, but I dont see any definitive answers.

Yes they will even the car up
Very little effect on ride quality (Roush rear shocks wouldn't hurt depending on the mileage of your old shocks)
You should not need an adjustable panhard but you should check after the install anyway

I have installed Roush springs and it only dropped the rear end about 3/4 of an Inch. You need a small amount of rake in the rear end so the Roush springs will give you that my car looks so good with them it looks almost even with the front you will be very happy with them installed. I did not change my Shocks because I only have 20,000 miles on them but will install Roush Shocks when needed the ride is BETTER now it is the same as far as stiffness but way less body roll in corners. I will be adding a rear sway bar soon as I work some more over time. Time to install for me was around 3 hrs just because my friends were around /helping/entertaining/screwing with me (we had fun doing it) you will need atorque wrench and the shock nuts (bottom nut) are to be torque down to 85 ft-lb. Jack the car up on stands remove rear tires then remove the brake line bracket that attaches to the BODY of the car then put a jack under the center of the axel just small amount of upwards PSI on it to support it and remove ONE side BOTTOM Shock Nut. Push the AX down at the disk brake area enough to pull out the rear spring (note the larger end of the spring direction) then install Roush Spring. Reinstall shock nut and brake line move to other side and do the same thing. Put your tires on and your done. EASY MOD to DO.

Roush rears all the way.
3/4" drop.
Still has a little rake to her.
Same ride as stock with the matching Roush shocks.
Less body roll into the turns and very predictable handling.
I also lost almost all the nasty wheel hop that the OE set-up has.

And get GT take-off front/rear sways as well.

they ride way better than the stockers, as for 20's.....
