Default help my PAINT my old stock rim's *pictures*

as you can see in my sig, i have Weld Drag Lite rims....... but as of yesterday, ive kinda lost my confedence in these rim's, as my passenger frount rim is making a crazy clicking noise (yes, it is the rim, had everything looked at a shop, and then got the wheels lookd at a performance tire shop)

so i have a pair of stock rim's im going to throw back on the car, but id like to paint them black...

ive painted my old rims on my pickup, and they came out amazing, but im not to sure if they will work for these rim's as they are different, not as smooth

for the truck i cleaned up the wheels, hit it with a sanding spounge, primed it with grey, 4 or so layers, then hit it with the black for about 4-6layers........ came out great, never had a problem with it (300* engine paint)

will that work for these?

heres pictures of the truck, before and after, and the stock rim's i have for the mustang.

AFTER

here are the stock mustang rim's id like to paint flat black....... but im just confused how to do it this time, as there not bs, junk rims like on the truck
