Default Axlebacks for Adults

Im old . Its to loud!

Seriously Im completely happy with the full throttle sound of the GT.
I can even live with the idle but its to quiet during light acceleration.

Every sound clip I hear sounds worse than stock (louder but worse).
Are their any axlebacks that actually sound better?
Without attracting every cop within 10 miles if I get on it.

Ford Racing Performance Parts (FRPP) GTA mufflers. They arethe same ones used on theShelby GT. It's made by Supreme mufflers. Slightly louder/deeper than stock at idle and cruising (and best of all no cabin drone) and sounds very good at WOT. Well made, stainless with great looking tips. It's an adult axle back.

I have a set of GTA's sitting in my garage with one broken hanger. The lip of the muffler broke off with the hanger.

I like the pypes mid mufflers and didn't think they were that loud/annoying, but a co-worker was atleast 10 car length behind me and said it was loud. I only used about half throttle to get through a yellow and I was doing 50mph in 4th gear.

I'm 35, by the way and I had the frpp stingers (borla) and found those to loud for my old ass.

I have to agree I am pretty happy with my GTA's, I had bassani for a couple weeks but the drone was just killer, I couldnt drive it more than about 15minutes w/o getting a headache. I'm guessing this all makes my almost 40 ass really old as well

+1 on the Magnaflows or the FRPP GTA's, they're really your only choices.

Pypes Street Pro's. Pretty much a knockoff of the FRPP GTA's but half the price.

Corsa AFAIK only makes one A/B for our cars. IMO they are the very best out there and I wouldn't trade mine for any other AB. They extremely quiet on cruise and scream at WOT. No other AB out there is like it. ON my last dyno run it was comical to see the heads turn and expression on the faces of thepeople in the parking lot waiting their dyno turn when we went WOT on the rollers.
