'94, v-6, 5 spd... odometer not working

speedo works, but not the odometer. does the odo work off a cable ? where do I start ?

Odometer works in conjunction with your speedo, both are electric driven. I'd pull out the clusters and make sure one of the mechanisms that drive the dials didn't break.

Very common problem. They sell gear replacement kits to fix this.

Don't have a link but i'm sure you could google it and find.
