Default S10 wheels to mustang

Wheel about 3 months ago i bought some of the classic torque thrust m black 5 spoke whith a chrome lipe for m s10. they have a5x4 3/4 bolt patteren, i wreked the truck and got a mustang so i was wondering if i got a wheel adapter is there anyway these would fit.mustangs are 5x 4 1/2 correct.

They would fit, but I think using adapters is a BAD idea [sm=forgetit.gif]

Several reasons for this: The stock lug-bolts will have to be cut so they dont run into the wheel. The lugs nuts will have limited thread depth in which to hold wheels. The spacer will add undue stress to the stock lug-bolts and limit clearance of tire to wheel well on Stang.

Sorry to shoot down your idea, but for less than $600 you can get a nice set of wheels that will fit your car properly.

Really? you can get a 4 3/4 bolt pattern to fit on a 4 1/2?

Either way, you're right, forget about it, not worth it.

Yup

The 4.75'lug-bolts are between the 4.5'holes so the adapter has 10 holes (and pretty much looks like swiss cheeze ) but5 arestaggered 1/8'. These were pretty popular many years ago prior to all the manufacturers making so many different wheels.
