I have a 99 mustang GT and I had purchased a Pro M 87mm mass air sensor, which I was told can fit a 96 to an 02. I put the sensor in in line with a mac cool air induction kit. My car ran fine for a couple of days then my engine light came on and my car started running really rich. It would idle high when come to a stop, then come back down when stopped. It runs rough at idle.I did some studing and found out that you should not run a cold air kit with it, so I put the stock back in. My light has not come back on, but still runs rough. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS. PLEASE HELP.

EDIT: BTW. welcome to the site.

EDIT#2: was the mass air calibrated for the size fuel injectors you have on your car. im not sure if 99 GT came with 19 lb. sounds like it is not calibrated for you size injectors.

desconect the batery. Let it rest for a couple of minets. That way the computer relerns how much air is coming in. You can use the maswith the cold air intake just need to get a tunner.
