Default Hoodscoop on 99 saleen mustang

Hi,
I have a 99 mustang gt with saleen body kit on it.Hoodscoop was missing when i bought it from a private party. So i ordered hoodscoop online though amazon. Was very dissappointed to see that the screws it comes with for the installation are very small screws which could barely hold the hoodscoop.Though on 99 Saleen Mustangs there is no hoodscoop but mine got holes on the hood seems there was hoodscoop on it before. So please suggest me : should i sell that hoodscoop or get it installed on the hood with silicon or some strong bond because i am worried that hoodscoop may fall off on freeway since the screws are very small as i mentioned before.
Please help me with some suggestions to install the hoodscoop on my hood. Also i bought the Black Decal stick for the hood.My car's color is performance red.
thanks a lot........

Personally, I would just leave it off and fill the holes a repaint. I believe Jazzer has an issue that the hood scoop impairs visability. Not sure, but he can elaborate if true.

P.S. Lose the bumper numbers.

Yes, I did have an issue with the scoop. I hated the visibilty obstruction coming over slow rises in roads at high speeds. HWY 1 has many of these hills so this simply would not do

I picked up a new CF Saleen knock-off heat-extractor hood and solved the issue. I do know of one person who made his scoop functional by knocking the front plate out and putting a hole in hood. The scoop is said to still be airborne somewhere on HWY 5!
