Default Getting the shadow

Yep, just got back from looking at the shadow and I am buying it. It is the 2.2L turbo shadow. It wasnt as bad as I thought. The bad parts of it is the exterior. Just some oxidation and chips on the hood. The passenger side door has a hard time closing, and the driver side rear door has a hard time opening. automatic transmission. Motor runs smooth and is quite deep when you rev it up. it has a hubcap rim on the front driver side wheel and the others are the stock ones which look very nice. The interior is mint! no fading or tears. And there is some grinding squeeking noises coming from the front driver side brake, most likely brake pads are worn. The front tires are bald, pretty much like racing slicks lol, but she has 2 new tires to put on it. The transmission shifts thru all gears and is smooth. Not a huge clunk when I put it in gear either. Everything under the hood is stock. starts fine and run fine. Very hard acceleration too. This little car sure does like to GO! average gas mileage is 300 miles on a tank on the freeway. There is tinted windows also, but there is ALOT of bubbles, there is a crack in the windshield but hardly visible. Radio and heater works, the gas gauge acts funny, it jumps from empty to full tank alot so it might just be a loose wire soemwhere. 90,000 original miles also. Motor and drivetrain has been well maintained also. The reason they are selling it is because the AC went out lol. But they were pretty straight up with the car and didnt hide anything bad which I like. You can never find honest people like that on craigslist.

She is giving it to me for $400 (talked her down $100 cause I have to register it in my state)

I might be taking it home next wednesday or the paycheck after that.

I'll upload pictures sometime tonight. It may be a beater but gets the job done for daily driving

Plans for the car? front mount intercooler, 2 1/2" downpipe and a magnaflow exhaust with dual DTM tips.

Does this sound a like a good deal? I sure think it does!

I'll do a major upgrades later, I am staying simple and just doing some bolt ons. Although rims would be nice but the paint and body is still all messed up lol. The passenger side is the best looking and has the matching rims hahaha

mine had the typical clearcoat peel when I got it...but a little rattle can job fixed that right up.

I also have an extra zenior diode and 3 bar map sensor if you want it ...so you can run more boost, It could be considered as a bolt on. :P.

Actually level, I ran the vinand its not a 2.2L like I thought. Its a 2.5L? But it is turbo. And makes 180ish stock and alot of torque. I cant wait to tear into this thing. I am ripping off all the stock intake **** and getting some metal tubing to achieve some extra power.

I still have to load the pics up from my camera and I have to leave to pick up my friend which is a 5hr drive there and back. I hope the truck doesnt die on me [8D]
