Default new approach to working out/nutrition

i've kinda hit a plateau lately, and i'm realizing, theres 2 problems. 1 is, i'm not getting enough protein. i looked at my diet lately, and while its very low in fat and other crap, i'm just not intaking enough protein to make any gains.

so, i decided to pick up some pure whey protein. not any of that cytogainer, sugar-filled, digestive nightmare stuff, just some back-to-basics, good old protein. and stick with it. every 3 hours, 25 grams.

also, i'm just not recovering from workouts. 4 days after a workout, i'll still be sore. so, i picked up some glutamine.

i'll let you guys know how it works out. i think its a good fresh approach.

You have to consume 1gram of protein per pound of body weight. Literally over 50% of gains are made in the kitchen

I don't take any protein. I do my battle in the kitchen and I've surpassed a lot of my friends.

If you are still sore 4 days later, you are probably doing it wrong.

Sounds like a good start. Just keep up on the protein intake and don't get lazy with it, like i do once in awhile haha.

if youre going to take whey protein, i suggest doing it in a water bottle. i tried mixing it, huge chunks everywhere. i tried it with milk - WAY too sweet. i drink about half a water bottle, put in 2 scoops of protein after a workout, shake it up (it gets rid of all the chunks!) and then add a little more water. it tastes really good that way

I have a gnc by me idk if you have one by you, but they sell like this mixer bottle thing for your protein. It works awsome and its only like $8. I'll try and post a link to it.
