Default straight pipes???

im 17 and my mom doesnt want me to spend $600 dollars on exhaust right now. for some stupid reason she wants me to wait a month or so until i put on my o/r x with SLP lm1s. so my question is how do straight pipes sound on a 98 GT? It will probably only be temporary until she lets me buy the good exhaust but any help would be great thanks

Default RE: straight pipes???

From everything I've heard about straight pipes on here, wait and buy the exhaust.

If you have the option, either way you go, get on the lift. I put my loudmouth catback on with ramps and jackstands and it definately sucks. Especially if you do the straight pipes for now, cutting the muffler out with the car on ramps and stands probably won't be the most fun you'll ever have.

Yea, they sound nice. I have a Bassani O/R x on order that should be coming in soon to go with them.

Awesome until the chief of police across the street hears me start the car at 6am to go to work. Should be interesting..
