Default RE: running ari temp?

The car has been tested at those temperatures and should have no problems, but there are a few things you can do to bring temperatures down and recover some performance. All the upgrades below are standard equipment on the 2008 S302E, and are very nice pieces.

New for 2008 Saleen now offers 3 upgrades that will have a huge increase in cooling.
- The upgraded intercooler package which comes with a much larger intercooler for the bumper as well as a higher capacity pump will be a huge help in keeping the water temp down.
- Saleen also offers a radiator baffle kit that will help direct more air through the radiators. This kit is specificly designed for the Saleen bodykit and the larger upgraded intercooler kit above.
- Saleen S302Extreme "Cold Air Intake" would help reduce hot underhod air from contributing to the problem.
- Another thing you can do is run straight water in the intercooler system to improve the cooling efficiency somewhat. Antifreeze is only there to keep it from freezing (hence the name).

All I would add is that even in AZ heat, 5or 10 minutes of highway driving should bring theIAT down to comfortably below 175. If it doesn't, start looking at pump operation (check especially the black Saleen relay on the passenger shock tower), heat exchanger leaks, low/air-filled h/e fluid, etc.
