Default Any one familiar with boats?

Hi, guys im looking to buy a boat and was curious if anyone had any experience with jet boats. The boat im looking at is a 1997 sea doo challenger 1800 which comes with twin ROTAX engines, im afriad that with ten years of use these motors will be almost finished? Does anyone know how these motors last or if there expensive to repair?

When I saw the title I thought this was going to be about S197s. [8D]

as long as it was properly maintained I shouldn't see an issue...there are boats alot older than 10 years putting around on the water.... sure it may be 10 years old but how many hours are on it?

Ten years old.....salt water.....check your electronics and metal fittings very carefully. Corrosion is a huge issue if the boat isn't very carefully rinsed after every use.
