I've talked to a few buddies that work higher up in ford and "know some people". The rumor I keep hearing is a Turbo Charged V6 putting out 340 HP for 2010. I have also been told by them the biggest and best improvement for 2010 is the Interior. They wouldn't give details but did say they drove the 2010 and the inteior is by far the best yet for a mustang !!! Also ford has planned to start production for FEB 09' for the 10' model year and the Glass Roof may be pushed back to mid-end year for 10' due to supplier issues.

Anways if anyone else knows or can confirm this ??

they are gonna have the Eccoboost V6 as an option for better economy and performance. i'd get one.

From what I've gathered from the various threads:
Base will probably be the 4.0
GT will probably be a 5.0 with 375hp and the ecoboost as an option with 340HP
The last year for the Shelby will be 2011
A Boss with a 6.2L will probably replace the Shelby. The is alsothe chance of multiple Boss trims.
Exterior wise the front end is very likely to use1970 model aspects.

I say "probably" since nobody has given any solid proof of these claims.

If they did have an ecoboost, I would probably get one. I can see that getting a nice following similar to what those turbo 4's from the eighties did.

I would assume they would have a nice bottom end.

Yes^ Ford claims to have designed it to have V8 power with V6 Fuel economy. The only it can't do it make the V8 noise. Performancewise its the same/better. As long as it's not an I4 I'm all for it.
