So today I finally made it to a track for the my first time. It could have been better weather (Got Rained out after 3 runs), But I still had a blast anyway. I was pretty nervous for my first run and it showed, I accidently left Traction Control on in the burnout [&:]and had a horrible reaction time of .421 and ended up running a 14.3...... I know ouch.
The second and third time were different. But the third run was my best, The launch could of been done better but they had me up against a pro mod and i couldnt even hear myself think next to that thing on its tranny brake. But I managed a mediocre .239 reaction time with a 2.077 60ft. I then ended up running a 13.5 @ 105.63 for the 1/4mile. They guy in the lane next to me made me feel slow tho he ran a 8.925 @ 159.01.
But overall it was a great experience and with a little more work on my reaction times I would like to see those numbers drop into the low 13's. The bullitt did great and I cant wait to see how it reacts to mods.

You can never have too much power, just not enough traction.
12.33 @ 112.3 - 1.71 60'
LoL it was pretty bad. I have a video of it ill try to post soon, my buds were cheering me on and wereexcited for me to hit 13.5 but when we watched the video over again the pro mod made me look like i was standing still. It was just a time trial so it didnt matter who I ran but it sure made me look bad lol.
Nice job getting out there and actually racing... I thought the bullitt was packing more heat than the regular GT?? I see a little bit more mph in the trap (though It's not uncommon for the GTs to trap 105mph)... and you have a good 60ft but the ET isn't as low as I was expecting...
Am I confused on the Bullitt??

RE: 08 Bullitt Track day
Nice work on the 2.0 sixty. Not an easy trick to pull off on street tires. Your reaction time wont increase your trap speed at all but a slightly better 60 and power shifting will get you there. Also some sticky tires are a drag racers best friend. Just a thought.

x2... you won't be seeing any change from your R/T... the 60ft and shifting will get your time down...though with a 2.0 60ft you already doing pretty well.

Sounds like you did pretty good to me too, OP! Like BB said, you've got the 60 down, but IMO, you're gonna need to powershift that Bullitt to go faster.
Forget about that RT for now, thats for bracket racers.
