hey everybody, just picked up my new mustang, well sorta. its a '66 convertible, 4 speed w/ the 289. its the first american car ive ever owned. dont know too much about american vehicles, as i currently own a 500hp '91 nissan 300zx tt, an '02 subaru impreza RS coupe, and a '99 toyota tacoma v6. you may think im one of those import lovers, but i do not discriminate, im a true automotive enthusiast and like all cars. but back to the mustang, its only got 89k original miles, perfect black vynl interior, but thats about where the good news ends. the car is/was dark blue at one time but now has a lot of rough spots, the black convertible top needs a lot of work too. the car was owned by my uncle since new and it has not been started or moved in at least 15 years, so it needs a bit of work. im great w/ engines and stuff like that, but i know nothing about body work and other cosmetic things. so hopefully i will be able to get her runnin here shortly. ill probably be asking a lot of questions and searchin a lot. anyway, just wanted to say hey. thanks.

thanks for the welcome. last night i got the car cleaned out and washed. 10+ years of dirt and dust takes a while to get off/out. hopefully i will get a new belt for it today and get er started up.
