I am sure I am beating a dead horse here, but I just needed to vent... Over the last few weeks I have been trying to order parts for my v6, only to have all of them all on back order. My thoughts are this, there are probably twice as many v6's than there are v8's on the market, one would think all of these companies would manufacture to the masses that would make them the most money. It took forever to get V6 parts to begin with, while v8 parts are everywhere you look. Now that there are v6 parts they are all on back order (ie, JBA Headers, T-Loc, ford racing gears, CAI's) . Supply and demand folks, I am sure if the companies will make them, we will buy them.

Remember the GT has the 4.6... so did last years model and the year before that and the year before that, etc...
So, a lot of these parts were already available, and either just fit, or had minor modifications made to make them fit...

However, the V6 has the 4.0 in it for the first time this year. Go look for parts for the 3.8 V6 from years past. No problem finding mods for it. Why? There has been significan time for the parts to be developed for that engine.

I think the only thing we can do is wait for this engine to be in the mustang a while longer, and for companies to produce the mods for it.

I'd rather have a company fully test a mod, than to push some piece of crap to market too early, just so it's available.
