Default 07 A/C Problem

Hey- hoping someone can help me, so that I don't have to take my Saleen to a dealer.

Got in my car today, which has been sitting basically in my garageall winter and spring. I have, about once a month, started the car and let it idle for 10 minutes or so just to keep everything loosened up. This time, battery was COMPLETELY dead. Looked at the battery tender, it wasn't on. Looked over at wall, and it looks as though someone in the family unplugged the BT.

Anyways, recharged the battery with a 45 amp charge for roughly 10 minutes. Got in, fired right up.

All of a sudden, the A/C is not working. The light comes on, the fan works, but pushing the button in and out doesn't change anything. In other words, the compressor is not cycling.

I know there are 2 fuses that control that- but I have to wonder if they would actually blow. I haven't checked them, but I will tonight after work.

Anyone have any other ideas what it might be?

If you've checked all possible fuses, then something seems fishy. Mines a 05 never had an issue.
I also have mine stored for months during the winter, starting every couple of weeks and also running the air to keep system lubricated.

You could alway's buy a can of Freon and try filling in the event somehow it leaked out.

I'm guessing you killed a fuse or two somewhere.....I've never heard of charging at 45amps for 10 minutes but my guess that is not good for the car/battery [&:] I never charge at more than 2 amps, which of course usually requires 4-8 hours. I've used a jump-buddy a couple times, but I've always heard that jumping can damage things if they are left on and can shorten the life of the battery.

I wish that was the case, but so far all the fuses I've checked are good. There are 2 small standard mini fuses that look fine, and I meter tested fine.

Theres like 2 I can't (or actually, I don't know how to meter check them) figure out if they are bad or not. They are the high current, 4 prong fuses that have no "window".

I am thinking its a fuse or fuses, because now I can let the car idle for like 10 minutes in 90 degree weather and the electric fans aren't coming on.

Can anyone tell me what temp they are supposed to kick in?
