I'm not going to let anyone's opinion sway my decision but I was just wondering what everyone thought. I work at Classic Design Concepts so it will basically be no cost and we pretty much know the shaker system better than anyone else. I'm buying another hood and saving the original so I can take it back to factory original when I want. As far as I know, I will be the only 64 1/2 Shaker. Here is a pic of my car and the engine compartment...

That would be gay, it just wouldn't look right. But I would get a scoop hood or something instead.....

Yeah, thanks for the idea. I could just get a scoop that everyone else has, that doesnt add performance or serve any purpose what so ever. THAT WOULD BE COOL!!!

Sorry I don't want to be like everyone else. Maybe you think that's "gay". Don't get me wrong, I like the Mach One's and Boss's that came with hood scoops, but I'm not putting a 50-100$ aftermarket scoop on my car that doesn't do anything.

Thanks to everyone else who had input and didn't call my idea gay when they didnt have any ideas of thier own.

I wouldn't use the hood applique if you can avoid it. I am not sure how it would look on a flat hood. I think a shaker scoop is a great idea and would look awesome on your car though.

Are you going to do it yourself or are you going to pay someone to do the work.

Nope sorry as*wipe, didnt f*ck up my hood, it looks perfect. and just to let you know, im not going to be rolling by like you said... im going to be blowing by your as*. Now go get some money little boy, so i dont have to look at your cheap as* paint job... oh wait, thats right, you probably dont have time since you still have to go to HIGH SCHOOL. Who payed for your car buddy.... MOMMY AND DADDY. And did you do all your mods by yourself... i think not. Have some respect for the car, even if you dont like the person driving it. People like you shouldnt be allowed to have Mustangs. Go Cry.

Anyway, on a more mature topic. i have done 10-15 shakers on new mustangs but, one of my buddys at work is helping me do the project at work (CDC). i rarely ever pay someone for work i can do because i would rather have the experience. so i am doing it, but i also have lots of help from someone that has been doing it longer than me.  i didnt know how it would look when we started but when we put on the applique and set the scoop where it was going to go.... i almost died. i definately had my doubts but it really looks sweet. now all we have to do is seal the airbox so i get a good pull from the scoop and fabricate some brackets and stuff like that. and if anyone is worried, i did buy and new hood and use different parts other than the originals so i could take my car right back to stock. soon i will have some pics.

Ha, whining like a bitch.  I respect people w/ classic mustangs, but not people who screw them up and make them look like something they're not.  Should have bought a Mach 1 if ya want a shaker.  And as far as my paint job, I'm almost done paying my parents off, and then I can finally do some of my own work on my car. They're pissing me off, taking all the money I make. So in about 6 months I'll have my car looking way better than yours, it does look good, but when I'm done it will look awesome, and if you think you can beat me, I doubt it.  When you finally catch up to me I'll be handing you the tissue so you can wipe your teary eyes, lol. So all your accusations about me are wrong, and post some pics of your shaker so I can laugh my ass off.

Ok buddy, go back to the playground and get a life while you're at it. Stop worrying about what I do and go get some money so you can show us this AWESOME Mustang you are going to make. That's the difference between me and you. You talk about your ideas for an awesome Mustang, I show mine bitch.

Oh yea, I guess in high school you had loads of money that you made.  And you asked what people thought about your idea, so you saying I cared about what you do wtf are you talking about. I was just saying what i thought and you come out bitching.  Talking about the playground, what the hell. You may think your stang looks nice, but I'll back it up on the track.  Ill be giving you the finger when I run your ass off the road. Underestimation. My car doesn't have the flashiest paint job, but I love the look on people like yours faces when I leave them in the dust.  So take yours to your grandpa's car show, I'll take mine to the track bitch....
