Default Optimum Shine- Questions from beyond

Lately i have come to realize that keeping a classic mustang clean is a sacred thing that should not be messed with.

My car is garage kept had been sitting for a few weeks with out much work being done, well because it is the summer and time seems to evade me this time of year and I was told I have to clean the garage (I realize this post is taking time but, I am a head on my daily tasks today!) anyway in the desert climate dust can engulf anything before you know it.... Living in Las Cruces the wind blows constantly but there is no grass to hold down the dirt... WHAT IS THE POINT?

POINT FOUND BELOW WITHOUT READING THE ABOVE REASONING!!!

What should I use to clean my car so my mustang forums friends stop making fun of me and my dirty car? It really makes me sad that i am a disgrace to the classic mustang community and beyond!

Soap and water.

I really love Meguiars Gold Class car soap, I use that and then Turtle Wax F21 Tire shine. I just used those to wash my car and it's purty.

In addition to the Meguire's car wash, I like the Meguire's 3-stage cleaner/polish/wax system as well. Works great and lasts as long as you can expect a carnuba wax to last.
