Default 2003 cobra exhaust setup

Hey guys, im looking to get an exhaust system for my 03 cobra but im overwhelmed by the amount of choices I have. Im leaning towards 2.5 inch magnaflow catback system. Anyone have any feedback? Im looking to gain some horsepower and make it sound louder and better but i also dont want this thing to be unbelievably loud and sound like im running open headers. Thanks- mark

If i was you, I wouldnt think twice. Throw borla stingers on your car. They sound AMAZING on cobras. Trust me. Look them up on youtube. Heres a vid i found of one.

The stingers sound good one the Termi's. I like SLP though, I've got an SLP Catted-X and LM1's on my 01 Cobra and love it. It's loud, but the cats quiet it down a lot and keep it really clean too. It's not obnoxious like an uncatted pipe w/ LM1's like some of the guys like.

Do what you want though. Magnaflow's sound good. Whatever you do would be better than stock...

I'm going with full 3" exhaust. I say you should go for it also. Here is going to be my setup.....Kook1 3/4 lt's with 3"collector, kook 3" shorty x-pipe with high flow cats & mac's 3" catback. This thing should sound like a beast!

Just about every combo with a sound clip there is for the Cobra's.

If you are leaning towards magnaflows they sound good with an offroad x pipe.

I know someone with this setup but they have the offroad x. It doesn't sound that great, but I bet it would sound better with cats.
