haha yeah but the reason why im stuck is the difference between them... gt500 for the amazing power and 0-60 time, roush for the short shifter and independent rear axle, bullitt for short shifter, decent work on the power/suspension for low price and a very good 0-60 time (faster than a roush stage 3)!
Out of those cars I would vote for the GT500. You can get one for sticker, and they have a nice one at the dealer Igo tofor $43,000. Then put the rest in upgrades, either suspension or engine of course, and you could blow the other away.
Just my opinion of course.

A short shifter should not make a big deal in buying decision. You can buy teh frpp KR short shifter for 200 bucks. You can even use the factory handle and knob and it will look like factory.
with that kinda money you should get the GT500.

I second that one. Get the GT500 and use the rest of the money in your upgrades. All the others have 4.6L engines and you will max it's capabilities unless you do significant mods to prevent engine explosion. With the GT500 and just a few mods, you will be well over the 500HP that it currently puts out.

i think youd do better off with gt500 because its a special edition car (as is the bullitt) BUT its got a unique engine init that probably wont ever be in anything mustang again... chances are you wont track the car much... if you wanted to make a track mustang buy a bullitt or a GT and mod up from something cheap.. i couldnt obviously sat buy a c6 ls3 but that kind of defeats the point of a mustang even though it gets best of all worlds. so broken down if it was me id just buy according to driving style, normal driving and occasional track = gt500, DD speifically bullitt, track probably rouch and add a few mods on it.

Shelby all the way. they r easy to make big hp with simple boltons (cai+tune+pulley=120+hp) cheep for the hp. u can go z06 hunting.plus you have a 5.4in a Shelby that will hold its value. ive had mine since 9/07 and still love it and cant wait to drive it daily, alsoplan for a good radar detector in your budget.
