BWAHAHAHAAHAHA, look, its a load. You think you have more power, but you really don't since the fan is just a restriction, and if it breaks... Its goes straight into the engine... nothing to stop the parts

If? If? If the world was made of If's we'd all be a bunch of paranoid punks. C'mon Sleeper, How much about this subject do you REALLY know? Have you ever had one on YOUR car? Or even been in a car with one on?

In all reality it's a pretty good system. and it REALLY does work. Also, if anything was to actually come apart, the screen from the maf would catch it. I drive my LX from time to time, and I also own an 03 Cobra, and believe ME, you CAN feel the difference!

First off the MAF is only on 91-93 cars, 2nd I looked into this. All the kits I've seen flow worse than a 2.3 turbo, are over priced, and are made from plastic which can fail and or melt.

The best one I saw had 250 CFM. The cylinder head flows about 212-215 CFM stock, but then factor in the 2.3 N/A has small injectors, and a tune not meant for added pressure... I'm going to beat your computer will flip out and you'll be running in LIMP mode the whole time and burn tons of fuel when its not needed, but then again thats just me

i've heard of those, they sounded nice and CLAIM to eliminate Turbo Lag, never been interested enough to buy one, just grab a small turbo it provids much moreturbo lag is nil on a Eclipse Stock Turbo Barely noticable with the 16G evo III turbo

if you were to put 6-8 of them on a car... you might get 3 lbs of boost[8D]

they always claim like 3-5lbs of boost... but they turn them on when the motor is not running. because to make 5 lbs of boost, they in reality need to be pumping out about 28lbs of boost, to get rid of the 22lbs of vac.

the only ones that actually work put so much strain on the electrical system that it takes a lot of upgrades to make it work. im guessing this mod works about as well as a cai or exhaust. the butt dyno is extremely inaccurate.
