Maybe I don't have Fog lights then, just dummies. I Don't have any switches on the center console. Just Two Coin holder Deals, and the traction control switch
No. I am not that Stupid. I have the original window sticker and it says fog lights are standard. I thought you maybe you had to twist some stupid knob at some funny degree, or something stupid like that. But, yes it does have two coin holders. I assumed one was for fog lights and one for conv top.
"man.. if you just bought a v6 with dual exhaust and foglights passed off as a GT, i can't help but laugh. it's so wrong, but... yeah.."
Just Thinking about this. You sound like you actually talk to people that make this mistake. LoL. I have had a 95 Mustang GTS (No Fog Lights), 94 Z28 conv, 99 Z28, and now a 2000 GT. I am not likely to be fooled by aftermarket fog lights and some K&N stickers, but it has been a few years.

well i haven't heard anybody do that. after reading in the 05 forum though, somebody saw an 05 v6 with a "GT Package". it had fog lights, & GT badging. when you said you didn't have any of the buttons there, it made me think about you may not even have a GT. you should have a TRAC OFF, REAR DEFROST & FOG LIGHTS.

The interior on the 99/00/01 models are different from the 02-04 models. There are two ways to tell the difference between a GT and a V-6. One is sound, you can never make a V-6 sound like a GT, the next is the speedo. GTs have 150 mph speedos and V-6s have a 120 mph one.
Yo Willus the third button that appears missing on your console would work the rear window defroster. Does your car have a rear defroster? (horizontal lines across the rear window?) I think all Mustangs even the convertibles have this feature.
Does that work? Where on your car is the button to turn that on?

You also have to have the lights on, either parking lights or full blown headlights. If you don't turn this switch on, the fogs will not work, regardless of what button you have that appears to be the fog light button.
