Im sure everyone has experimented now with subs firing in different directions, what have you found to sound the best? Right now I have a pair of 8's firing thru backseat and they sound like crap. Was thinking of cutting a hole in the back deck and trying that route next, but figure I would see if anyone has any other ideas.

i had two 10" Alpine Type-R' subs in a ported box firing back and it sounded really good but like yomo, it slid around and took up all my trunk space...didnt want to bracket it down in case i had to take it out to put something back there. I ended up just finishing building a "stealth" box fitted with one 10" JL 10w3v2 to fit in the right side compartment as well asa vertical amp/cap rack to fit the left side of the trunk. just faded both boxes to end at the rear shocks. sounds good and clean but not near as much "deep" bass as when i had two firing backwards
