Default Project: Beater Stang

Thats exactly what it is, I hope I don't get slayed for this.
I don't plan on restoring it, I plan on fixing it up a little and driving it until the wheels fall off, and will no longer stay on haha.

The Car as I bought it, In all its glory for 375$ before the offers start
(no shes not forsale but 750 and we can talk.)
Now that that's covered, lets move on to the pics!

Cool, now lets move on the the good points.
4cyl that runs fine.
auto that has no problems yet
88,XXX original miles
New radiator
New alternator
New fuel system including tank
Not rotted to crap in the normal places these rust out
Notch back and not a hatch

The bad
Powersterring rack leaks
The brakes need adjusted and or done (I havent checked yett)
it needs 2 tires in the front.
The fill panels behind the bumpers are cracked to crap.
The paint is horrible.
the left rear drivers seat leg has broken off and the seat now sits all kinds of screwed up
broken right rear tailight
a bunch of other small stuff im sure.

Lucky me, I've sourced a free bumper cover and fill panels, of which I'm picking up tonight.
So yeah my plans are to Get this car into road condition.
Clean the body up the best I can including paint.
Put it on the road, and enjoy.
My goals are to have less than 600$ total into this car.

sounds like a good plan. Nothing wrong with using it for what it was made for. Its a auto 4cyl, its meant to be daily driven to save gas and not much more. Hey, if i want good gas mileage for cheap id rather be rolling around in a mustang than a geo. And heck, with all the retards out there, most think its fast just b/c its a mustang >.>

Good to know I'm not being slain haha.
I bought the book to learn a few things, Then I priced a passenger door handle for the heck of it.
It reminded me why I hate auto parts stores.
I'll get some pics hopefully tonight, of the parts im picking up.
I'll probably be doing some work to it this weekend.
I need to crunch the rest of the week, pulling a motor out of something im scrapping.

Yup. I have a friend at school who told me he was getting two five oh's. I went to his house and looked under the hoods and they were both four bangers. Obviously this guy didn't know too much about cars. I laughed at him and called him an idiot.

hahaha.
Well I got my free filler panels, and a free bumper. (I think my current bumper might be better, but all the same it was still FREE.
Also today I got a Free brand new passy side door handle, to entail a 40$ savings
I'll get some pics later.
Finding a tail light for cheap has proven to be a challeneger, junkyards want the cost of a new tail light.
