Default Heads help.....

Hey guys i am looking at getting a whipple for my 03 cobra. My question is that my guy told me that i am going to have to get my heads upgraded b/c i have the heads with only 4 threads for the spark plugs and if i dont get the newer ones offered on later 03 and all 04 cobra's and mach 1's that i will start to blow out my plugs? have yall heard of this? he said the newer ones have 9 threads instead of 4......

Most people running whipples do not have the new heads. I would just keep it around 600whp and you should be fine.

your heads are fine.. he's just stupid.

The only thing you have to worry about is the head tick with the older heads, but it won't "hurt" your car... as long as your spark plugs are put in with the right tor. specs... some of these "mechanics" just basically tighten them so hard, that they blow out.. has nothing to do with a whipple.

Well i was going to go with the smallest pully they have for the whipple 2.75, So i should be ok with the regular heads that come on it? im just double checking b/c i dont want to get that pulley and its to much. If i have to i will go with a lil bit bigger pulley
