I Feel like an IDIOT
ok, so originally i was saving up my money to get a GT500. Right now i have the mustang gt with a whipple supercharger and all of the Saleen Goodies. I have full body kit, exhaust, short throw, suspension, and i was in the process of buying the hood but it fell through. So now i have the mustang up for sale and i was at galpin this weekend and then they said well we have a used GT500 in your colors and it only has 2900 miles on it. I went and looked and i was throughly impressed. When they sat me down they were only willing to give me 16,000 for my car. Well i owe QUITE a lot more than that and when the negative was put in and the payments were figured out we realized that we werent in the same ballpark.
On my way out i saw another car that caught my eye, a dark grey saleen extreme. i went and looked and it was an 07 with only 1950 miles on it, when i saw it i aske the price and they told me that out the door it was going to be close to 2,000 LOWER than the GT500. Well i told them i would think about it cause with that the payment would be where i wanted. When i got home i called them told them i didnt know what i was thinking and that i wanted the extreme. They told me it sold 20 mins after i stepped off the lot. I dont think i will ever find that good of a deal on one again.
