When I graduated from high school, I was driving a '70 Impala coupe. My folks bought be an electric typewriter for graduation.

Nice pony. Almost the same one as me, except mines a convert and with grey leather. You're def lucky. All this girl got for graduation was a pep talk from the rents telling me to get into a nice college or get a full time job. I chose the job of course In fact, I didn't even have a license my senior year, I didn't get mine until I was 18... (I was rather lazy). And my first car was a 98' Saturn..haha. Then with the full time job money I bought a 2000 Mustang convert in performance red. And now, I have the love of my life... my 05 So you better appriciate your parents and tell them that everyday! Some of us aren't as lucky to get it for free...I'm paying out the @ss for mine plus insurance. Enjoy

Must be nice... Isn''t this where America is headed? I had to pay 2500.00 of my own money in HS for a 85'' Camaro. That was alot of hours bagging groceries!

Nice looking pony though! Take good care of it!

Or if he still has it.

This was my first car....a 1972 Ford Pinto. My parents bought it for $900.00. I kept the car until the early ''90s and sold it for $700.00. It was never involved in a wreck;

I remember when I graduated high school. I worked my butt off every summer while I was in high school and had enough money to buy a ''99 V6 with 30K miles on it when I graduated in 2001. Got a great deal on it and never looked back. I''d definitely still have it now if it weren''t for hurricane Katrina. (That BlTCH)

I see you used some of that government money to get a S197.  I''m glad to know I helped contribute to your car fund.  LOL

when i graduated from highschool 2 years ago i was driving (still am as a daily) a 2000$ 89 cadillac deville. i work part time at the canadian tire here to pay off my 08 s197.

what pisses me off though is my sister is only 16 and is going to get her g1 (don''t know what that is for you americans) and my dad is all talks about buying her an old porsche...where was MY old porsche?!
it''s likely cause she''ll fulfill the legacy of a long line of pharmacists and engineers, whilst i''m attending art school to be a photographer. (we''ll see who''s living in France and owns a Lamborghini in the end)
