I am a long time Mustang owner but I just bought a beautiful 1989 5.0 GT Convertible with 19000 original miles on it (all original in showroom condition) and I want to upgrade it a little. I'm having trouble finding an in dash CD player that will fit it. There is the open slot beneath the radio/cassette player where a CD will fit but if I have to buy a whole new unit that's OK I just need to know where to buy it. Also, I would like to put a remote door lock opener/alarm system on it and need to know where to buy that.

Any help you can be would be greatly appreciated.

As for the stereo, check crutchfield.com. They have install kits for most mustang models.
