Default sub/amp question

hey,
tried searching couldnt really find anything that helped me.
I am interested in getting an amp and a sub to upgrade my shaker 500. i was curious whats a good setup thats under 400. Also, what are some good things that i should look at in buying a amp/sub

you can hook up an amp and sub to the mach system with out much trouble. You can go as simple as a self amplified system like a bazooka or infinity basslink or go with any sub/amp combo. You will need a line out converter to hook your amp to the factory deck but these are not hard to find.
