There is a Sonics out in Lake Side, quite a way for a drive.
I live in Escondido, and I have seen the nice cars on Friday night, but it is a classic/resto show, makes me want to get me an old T-bird, so I can go down, maybe even a 65'/66' Big Block Stingray.
If you anyone has a suggestion for a nice place to meet up at, I'm all ears.
We have an 05 V6! (Don't hate- it wasn't too long ago that GT's were down around 210 HP) A pony parade down the 101 would be nice! The closest Sonic is in Anehiem. Thanks for posting the thread!

There is a local gearhead gathering on the first Sunday of the month in the parking lot at Dalton's Roadhouse Grill in San Marcos (Nordahl & 78). All-u-can-eat BBQ (burgers, dogs, ribs, potato salad, sodas, etc.) for 10 bucks, music, plus some nice rides. Very informal, a little bit of everything. Maybe we can plan on Sunday, June 5 being our first chance to meet each other and show off a half-dozen or so '05s all at once???

I count Temecula as part of San Diego. One, it is on the edge of San Diego County, even though it isn't in the county. Two, many of my coworkers live there, and I work in San Diego. And three. it takes me less time to get to Temecula than it does to San Diego.

I like the fact that I am the only one with a Windveil Blue GT (no v6's either).
June 5th, huh? I will have to wait and see whether that weekend is the one that my wife and I take a weekend off from the kids or not. If not, we can all go up and pig out and look at cool cars. The boys love my car and would love to look at other cool cars.

I work in Sorrento Valley. As for the Windveil Blue, I guess I will have to hold on to the fact that noone on this forum from San Diego has a Windveil Blue. At some point, it will turn into the "I'm glad I have one of the few WBs in the San Diego area".

If you live in Escondido, then San Diego is just across Lake Hodges from you. Temecula is 30+ miles north.
What is your deal with Temecula....or is it that I'm a chick? You said you don't have a problem with Temecula, so I will assume it's the chick thing. I completly understand......some guys just don't like having a chick around that knows more about Mustangs, cars, etc. than they do.

Thanks...........it really bothers me that someone would try to put a "county line limit" to deceide if you should be involved in something. I asked him what the list was for, he said to meet up and check out Mustangs......in that case who gives a **** where you live, 1 hour or 5 hours, as long as you're willing to make the drive, it takes longer to drive from Pacific Beach - Horton Plaza than it does for me to cross over "the border". I was born and raised in San Diego, not to mention I am there at least 1X per week.

My, my, my... aren't we defensive... LOL
Like I said, I like Temecula... I have nothing against Temecula at all (or car chicks for that matter). In fact, I spent more time there this past weekend, than I did in San Diego. You are reading WAY too much into my comments... lighten up. I already said previously you were welcome to join us for a little "show and tell" with the cars. Just check the attitude at the door... OK?
